Overview of PLN Indonesia Power
PLN Indonesia Power is one of the subholding power generation companies under PT PLN (Persero), established on October 3, 1995, under the name PT PLN Pembangkitan Jawa Bali I (PT PJB I). On October 8, 2000, PT PJB I changed its name to Indonesia Power to affirm the company's goal of becoming an independent power generation company with a pure business orientation. On September 21, 2022, the company underwent a structural transformation to become PLN Indonesia Power, which is the largest power generation company in Southeast Asia with a total capacity of 21.08 GW.
The company's primary business activities include providing energy solutions, which encompass electricity generation through power plants distributed across Indonesia, as well as engaging in business development beyond kilowatt-hours (KWh).
